From 1992-1994, the Homewood-Brushton community of Pittsburgh Pa was siege by an epidemic of gang violence resulting in a loss twenty-two businesses in the community and an erosion of the residential base of 11,000 residence to 7,500.  The business losses became overwhelming.  Determined to keep the business open, Eric developed a marketing program – The Freedom Plan.  The Plan, a prepay value added program, breathed new life into the business that was on the verge of collapsing.  Today, Eric’s model has evolved into a Universal Prepay StrongCard™ Value Added Program for Merchants and Consumers.

My name is Eric C.
